 Installation Instructions

Important Safety Note:
Rear taillight replacement involves electrical connector handling—disconnecting the vehicle 12V battery negative terminal is recommended before replacement to prevent short circuits or accidental illumination. The taillight uses 2 fastening bolts, 3 screw holes, and 2 positioning pins for secure installation.

Tools Required:

• Plastic trim removal tool

• Phillips screwdriver / Socket wrench

• Torque wrench

• Cleaning cloth

Installation Steps (General Reference):

1. Disconnect power: Disconnect vehicle 12V battery negative terminal

2. Remove trunk interior trim: Remove side trunk interior trim to access taillight mounting position

3. Disconnect electrical connector: Unplug the harness connector from the rear taillight assembly

4. Remove mounting bolts/screws: Remove 2 fastening bolts and 3 mounting screws

5. Remove old lamp assembly: Carefully remove the old rear taillight assembly

6. Compare & confirm: Verify new part matches old in left/right orientation and connector type

7. Install new lamp assembly: Position the new rear taillight assembly—align with 2 positioning pins and mounting holes

8. Tighten mounting bolts/screws: Install and tighten bolts and screws to specified torque

9. Connect harness: Reconnect the rear taillight harness connector—ensure secure connection

10. Reinstall trunk trim: Reinstall side trunk interior trim

11. Reconnect & test: Reconnect battery, start vehicle—test all taillight functions
