This product is specifically designed for the BYD472QA 1.5L Xiaoyun plug-in hybrid专用engine in the BYD Qin PLUS DM-i. It is a critical rubber hose assembly in the engine cooling system—the coolant hose. The coolant hose is responsible for transporting coolant between the engine, radiator, water pump, heater system, and EGR cooler, maintaining the engine within its optimal operating temperature range while ensuring efficient heat dissipation for key plug-in hybrid components such as the electric motor and control electronics.

The Xiaoyun 1.5L naturally aspirated engine in the BYD Qin PLUS DM-i features Atkinson cycle operation with an ultra-high compression ratio of 15.5:1 and a maximum thermal efficiency exceeding 43%. The engine adopts a split cooling strategy with independent circuits for the cylinder block and cylinder head, achieved through a dual-thermostat design, with dedicated coolant hoses supplying each. The plug-in hybrid system must simultaneously manage heat dissipation for the engine, electric motor, and battery pack, utilizing a "dual-loop" intelligent thermal management system. As the core delivery channels in the thermal management system, the sealing performance, temperature resistance, and pressure resistance of the coolant hoses directly affect the proper operation of the entire system.

This product is developed and manufactured strictly according to BYD OEM technical standards, using EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) rubber material. It passes rigorous high-low temperature cycle and pressure tests, with OE numbers precisely matching the original vehicle for direct replacement of aged or damaged coolant hoses.
