It is a core body panel that forms the streamlined rear side profile of the vehicle—the rear fender panel. Acting as the "side wing profile" of the vehicle body, the rear fender extends from the rear door gap to the taillight area, covering the space above the rear wheel. Together with the front fender, it shapes the smooth side lines of the vehicle. As an integral part of the body-in-white side panel, the rear fender not only determines the visual aesthetics of the rear side but also performs multiple functions including covering the rear wheel, blocking mud splash, and guiding airflow, making it a key exterior component integrating aesthetics, aerodynamics, and structural rigidity.

As a core sales model of BYD's pure electric vehicle lineup, the BYD Qin PLUS EV is available in multiple range versions including 420KM, 510KM, and 610KM, with body dimensions of 4765-4795mm × 1837mm × 1515mm and a wheelbase of 2718mm. The Qin PLUS series generally uses 73.5% high-strength materials, and as an integral part of the body side panel, the structural strength and corrosion resistance of the rear fender directly affect the safety and durability of the vehicle.

Important Note: The rear fender is integrated with the rear side panel, welded together with structural components such as the A/B/C pillars and roof cross members. Therefore, the rear fender cannot be removed independently. In the event of severe damage (such as collision deformation or large-area corrosion perforation), repair typically requires cutting and replacing the damaged section, which must be performed by a qualified body repair technician in a professional repair shop.
