As a professional NEV suspension system components manufacturing factory, we proudly present the Front Strut Mount with Bearing designed specifically for the BYD All-New Qin EV (5th Generation DM Plug-in Hybrid Edition) .
The BYD All-New Qin EV features a front MacPherson strut independent suspension. The front strut mount is located at the top connection point between the strut and the vehicle body. This component consists of an upper rubber mount and a thrust bearing, fulfilling three core functions: connecting the strut to the body, absorbing road impact loads transmitted from the wheels, and allowing the strut to rotate smoothly with the wheels during steering.
Due to the characteristics of MacPherson suspension, when the front wheels turn, the strut rotates together with the steering knuckle. At this point, the strut mount bearing must simultaneously bear vertical impact loads and horizontal rotational torque – making it one of the most technically demanding components and the most susceptible to noise and damage in the suspension system.
Our product features a composite structure of optimized natural rubber and high-carbon chromium bearing steel (GCr15) , developed through 3D reverse engineering of the original chassis data, ensuring precise alignment with the BYD All-New Qin EV body strut tower mounting holes. The rubber component is treated for ozone resistance and high/low temperature aging, while the bearing undergoes precision grinding processes. This effectively resolves issues such as rubber mount aging/cracking and bearing wear noise (clicking sounds when turning at low speed or stationary), significantly improving driving stability and steering smoothness.
Specifically developed for the BYD All-New Qin EV MacPherson front suspension. Unlike double-wishbone designs, the strut serves both damping and steering kingpin functions. The strut mount must bear not only vertical body pressure but also lateral forces from the tires and rotational torque from steering. Our product is precision-engineered to ensure stable operation under these complex load conditions, preventing premature failure.
The rubber mount uses ozone-resistant, low-temperature-capable natural rubber, maintaining excellent elasticity from -40℃ to 120℃, effectively filtering road bumps and reducing vibration transmission. The thrust bearing is constructed from high-carbon chromium bearing steel (GCr15) with precision-ground raceways achieving surface roughness Ra≤0.1μm. Combined with high-purity grease, it ensures smooth, noise-free steering – addressing the common "clicking noise when turning at standstill" issue reported by BYD All-New Qin EV owners.
Developed with 3D real-vehicle scanning molding, with mounting holes precisely matching the BYD All-New Qin EV body strut tower – no modifications required. Each product undergoes 100% pressure testing (verifying rubber compression set), rotational torque testing (verifying bearing smoothness), and NVH noise testing before shipment. The product is certified under ISO 9001/IATF 16949 quality systems, ensuring zero-defect delivery.
