The wall-mounted charger (home AC charging station) is the core daily charging equipment for Formula Leopard 5 owners. According to vehicle configuration information, the Formula Leopard 5 comes with a 7kW AC charging station as standard equipment, supporting the vehicle’s 6kW slow charging capability . This product features 7kW AC output with 220V single-phase input, plug-and-charge or RFID card activation, and an IP55 protection rating suitable for various indoor and outdoor installation environments .

Compatible with all BYD Formula Leopard 5 trims (including Explorer/Navigator/YunNian/Smart Driving versions). According to vehicle data, the Formula Leopard 5 supports 6kW AC slow charging and 100kW DC fast charging, with battery charge from 30% to 80% in just 16 minutes .

 Installation Instructions

Pre-Installation Preparation:

1. Confirm parking space ownership: Requires owned parking space or lease ≥1 year

2. Obtain property approval: Apply for a stamped “Charging Station Installation Consent Form” from property management

3. Apply for dedicated meter: Submit documents including ID, vehicle invoice, property certificate, and property consent via State Grid APP or local office 

4. Installation coverage: Manufacturer typically includes 30 meters of free cable, with additional cable charged at standard rate (approx. 45 CNY/meter) 

Installation Steps (General Reference):

1. Choose installation location: Select a well-ventilated, dry position near the vehicle charging port for wall mounting

2. Secure mounting bracket: Use expansion bolts to firmly attach the bracket to the wall

3. Connect power input: Connect 220V power line (recommend 6mm² or larger copper wire) and ground wire

4. Install gun holder: Secure the charging gun storage socket for convenient storage

5. Power-on test: Connect power, check indicator status, confirm normal operation

6. Vehicle charging test: Connect to vehicle for first charging test, confirm normal function

【Professional Tips】:

• Meter installation and charger installation are recommended to be applied for separately—installing the meter first saves overall time 

• Measure the distance from meter to charger before installation—30 meters included free, extra length requires additional payment 

• Recommended to install a charging station protective enclosure (approx. 200 CNY) for waterproof, dustproof, and tamper-proof protection 

• After installation, verify reliable grounding to ensure charging safety
