Installation Instructions

Tools Required:

• Electric Drill (3mm & Mounting Bit)

• Screwdriver / Wrench

• Grille Removal Tool / Clip Puller

• Wire Strippers / Electrical Tape

• Test Light

Installation Steps (General Reference):

1. Determine installation position: Identify the mounting position at the front of the roof rack, measure the distance between light pods 

2. Drill and secure: First drill a 3mm pilot hole, then enlarge to mounting screw size, secure the light bracket 

3. Wiring layout: Electrician should pre-route wiring, leave wires at installation point. For roof routing, ensure waterproofing; for rain channel routing, apply soft sealant after installation 

4. Controller installation: Secure the ballast to spare screw holes on the factory bumper bracket, mount the controller and fuse 

5. Wiring test: Harness colors—Black (Ground), Red (Constant Positive), White (Group 1 Control), Blue (Group 2 Control). After connection, power on and test beam angle 

6. Cable entry: For control wire entry into cabin, fender disassembly is required—professional installation recommended 

【Professional Tips】:

• Always turn off power when installing light pods to avoid circuit damage 

• Light pods draw high power—avoid excessive battery drain, do not connect switches directly to constant power, follow vehicle system integration 

• After installation, monitor overall vehicle height changes to ensure garage clearance (reference height ≤2.15m) 

• Front-mounted light pods are recommended—avoid A-pillar and roof-mounted pods that may obstruct visibility in rain/fog
