Product Description

This product is specifically designed for the BYD472QA 1.5L Xiaoyun plug-in hybrid专用engine in the BYD Qin PLUS DM-i. It is the core support and vibration damping component at the front of the engine and transmission assembly—the front engine mount. Together with the rear engine mount, left mount, and right mount, it forms the powertrain mounting system, securing the engine and transmission to the subframe while absorbing vibrations, isolating noise, and limiting powertrain displacement.

The BYD Qin PLUS DM-i is equipped with a Xiaoyun 1.5L naturally aspirated engine featuring Atkinson cycle operation with an ultra-high compression ratio of 15.5:1 and a maximum thermal efficiency exceeding 43%. The engine delivers maximum power of 81kW and maximum torque of 135N·m, while the electric motor system provides up to 316N·m of torque, resulting in significant combined system torque output. The front engine mount is located at the front lower section of the powertrain, bearing substantial loads during acceleration and braking, making it one of the most stressed components in the mounting system.
