It is a core structural component installed at the front of the engine compartment, supporting the radiator and condenser—the Generation 2 radiator support frame (also known as the cooling module frame). Acting as the "skeletal system" of the engine compartment, the radiator support frame is located in front of the engine, securing the position of the radiator and other cooling components, while the radiator brackets firmly attach the entire cooling system to the vehicle frame and absorb impact-induced vibrations. As the core support structure of the front cooling system, it not only provides a rigid mounting platform for the radiator, condenser, and electric cooling fan but also serves as the first line of defense to protect精密cooling components during low-speed collisions.

The 2025 BYD Qin PLUS DM-i (Generation 2) features upgraded exterior dimensions, with length, width, and height measuring 4780mm × 1837mm × 1515mm—an increase of 15mm in length and 20mm in height compared to the previous model. As a main structural component of the front engine compartment, the radiator support frame's contours and mounting hole positions are precisely adapted to the new vehicle body.
