As the pinnacle of BYD's "Dragon Face" design language, the Gen2 grille adopts the "Octagonal Dragon Roar" design concept with a larger mouth-type air intake. The interior features a dot-matrix chrome trim structure resembling "Dragon Scale Armor," complemented by C-shaped air guide slots on both sides and new blackened dragon scale trim strips, creating an impactful and sporty appearance with a strong technological feel.

The 2025 Qin PLUS DM-i (Generation 2) has undergone a comprehensive exterior evolution: the DM-i plug-in hybrid version features a large front grille with a dot-matrix internal structure, and the chrome trim above the grille has been replaced with a blackened style to emphasize sportiness. The grille is seamlessly integrated with the C-shaped air guide slots on both sides of the bumper, enhancing the modern aesthetic while enriching the front-end layering. The new model measures 4780mm × 1837mm × 1515mm, representing an increase of 15mm in length and 20mm in height compared to the previous model.
