Product Description

This product is specifically designed for the front underbody of the BYD Qin Pro DM-i (including DM dual-mode plug-in hybrid and fuel versions). It is a chassis protection component installed beneath the engine/motor to safeguard core powertrain parts—the engine lower cover (front) . As a key protective component of BYD's DM-i super hybrid system, the lower cover acts as the chassis "armor," silently protecting precision components such as the engine, electric motor, oil pan, and high-voltage wiring harnesses from road debris, sand, mud, and snow, while preventing direct damage to the core powertrain from bottoming out and scraping.

The BYD Qin Pro DM-i is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine + electric motor DM dual-mode plug-in hybrid system, with maximum engine power of 113kW and peak motor power of 110kW, delivering substantial combined system torque. The Qin Pro DM engine adopts a front-mounted layout (exhaust in front, intake in rear), with the exhaust pipe positioned relatively low, placing high-temperature resistance requirements on the engine lower cover. This product optimizes the insulation structure on the inner lining to effectively cope with exhaust pipe heat radiation.
