Product Description

This product is specifically designed for the rear suspension system of the BYD Qin Pro DM-i (including DM dual-mode plug-in hybrid version). It is a core damping component of the multi-link independent suspension—the rear shock absorber assembly. The rear shock absorber absorbs impact energy from the road surface during driving, quickly converting the rebound kinetic energy of the compressed spring into thermal energy to prevent continuous bouncing of the vehicle body, ensuring smoothness, stability, and ride comfort. It is a critical safety component for driving quality.

The BYD Qin Pro DM-i is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine + electric motor DM dual-mode plug-in hybrid system, featuring a multi-link independent rear suspension structure. Compared to torsion beam non-independent suspension, the multi-link independent suspension offers superior wheel tracking and lateral support, placing higher demands on the damping precision and response speed of the rear shock absorber. Due to the addition of battery packs and electronic control systems, plug-in hybrid vehicles have increased overall weight compared to fuel versions, requiring stricter load-bearing capacity and durability performance from the rear shock absorber. The core task of the shock absorber is not to "absorb shock" but to "control vibration"—quickly absorbing the rebound energy of the compressed spring and dissipating it as heat to prevent the body from bouncing continuously.
