 Installation Steps

Step 1: Safety Preparation

Park the vehicle on flat, hard ground. Engage the electronic parking brake, shift to P, and turn on hazard lights. Place the warning triangle 50-100 meters behind the vehicle. Confirm no one is inside and the vehicle is not raised.

Step 2: Loosen Lug Nuts (Before Jacking)

Before jacking, use the lug wrench to loosen each wheel nut counterclockwise by about half a turn. With the tire still on the ground, nuts are easier to break loose. Note: Song PLUS wheel nuts are M14×1.5 thread size with a 21mm socket.

Step 3: Jack Up the Vehicle

Position the jack under the marked chassis notch, ensuring the saddle fully engages. Turn the jack handle clockwise to raise the vehicle until the tire is 2-3 cm off the ground—no higher is needed. Keep the jack perpendicular to the ground during lifting to prevent slipping.

Step 4: Remove the Old Wheel

Fully remove all lug nuts counterclockwise with the lug wrench. Store nuts together to prevent loss. Grip the tire on both sides and pull outward to remove the old wheel assembly.

Step 5: Install the New Wheel

Align the new alloy wheel with the hub center bore and bolt holes, then push it into place. Hand-thread each lug nut first, then tighten in a diagonal alternating pattern (star sequence) to ensure even seating against the hub face.

Step 6: Lower and Torque

Lower the vehicle by turning the jack handle counterclockwise until the tire contacts the ground. Using a torque wrench, tighten each lug nut to 130 N·m in a diagonal sequence. A torque wrench is mandatory—do not use your foot or a cheater bar.
