The BYD Yuan Pro Right Front Mudguard is a front wheel protection accessory developed specifically for this vehicle model. Installed behind the right front wheel arch, it effectively blocks mud, water, and gravel thrown up by the tire from eroding the body paint and side skirts.
This product is precision-developed based on BYD Yuan Pro original vehicle data. Made from soft rubber-plastic material, mounting holes fully match factory provisions for direct installation without drilling. It fits Yuan Pro and Yuan EV all series.
Precision OEM Data Matching
Developed based on BYD Yuan Pro original vehicle data. Mounting holes fully align with factory provisions for direct installation without drilling, ensuring secure mounting with no resonance.
Soft Rubber-Plastic Material
Made from soft rubber-plastic material with excellent flexibility and impact resistance. Will not crack even at minus 20 degrees Celsius, more durable than ordinary hard plastic.
Effective Mud and Water Splash Blocking
The mudguard covers the critical area behind the right front wheel, effectively reducing mud and water splashed by the tire onto the doors and side skirts, keeping the vehicle cleaner and reducing car wash frequency.
OEM Clip Matching Design
Some styles feature perfect OEM clip matching design, eliminating the need for self-tapping screws and drilling, preserving original vehicle integrity for easier installation.
Left/right position distinction: The front right wheel refers to the right front wheel position when seated inside the vehicle. The back of the mudguard is typically labeled with the specific installation position. Verify before installation.
Tool preparation: Installing the right front mudguard typically requires a Phillips screwdriver (for self-tapping screws) and a flathead screwdriver (for prying original clips or expansion screws).
Turn the steering wheel fully to the right (counterclockwise) so the right front wheel angles outward, creating workspace for mudguard installation.
Remove original clips or screws at the right front mudguard mounting position using a flathead screwdriver to pry out the center plastic pin of the expansion screw or clip, then pull out the entire clip. Note: Remove original clips slowly to avoid damage, but if screws break, replacement hardware from the kit can be used.
Align the right front mudguard with the original mounting position, confirming the holes on the mudguard align with factory provisions.
Self-tapping screw fixing: The front mudguard typically has three fixing points. After confirming hole positions, use a small hammer and nail to make a pilot hole in the original plastic component, then drive in self-tapping screws—this makes installation easier.
OEM clip matching: Some dedicated mudguards use perfect OEM clip matching design without self-tapping screws. After removing original clips, replace with supplied clips. The supplied pin has threads but is not screwed in—press firmly to secure the clip.
After installation, shake the mudguard by hand to confirm it is secure with no looseness. Ensure the mudguard fits tightly against the body without affecting normal tire rotation.
