The BYD Yuan Pro Rear Bumper Assembly is a rear protection and exterior body panel accessory developed specifically for this vehicle model. Installed at the rear of the vehicle, it handles core functions including rear collision cushioning, exterior appearance presentation, and rear fog lamp/reflector mounting.
This product is designed to OEM OE specifications, with OE reference numbers SCH-2804113 / 11515426-00, fitting Yuan Pro 2021-2023 (50.1 kWh version). The rear bumper assembly includes the bumper skin and bracket structure, directly replacing collision-damaged or aging original rear bumpers.
Precision OEM OE Specification Match
Developed based on BYD Yuan Pro original vehicle data, with OE reference number SCH-2804113 and cross-reference number 11515426-00. Clip positions and bracket holes fully match OEM specifications for direct installation without modification.
High-Strength PP Plastic Construction
Made from PP (polypropylene) plastic via injection molding, offering excellent impact resistance and flexibility. Effectively absorbs energy during low-speed collisions to protect the rear body structure.
Matte Black OEM Style
The surface features a matte black finish, harmonizing with the Yuan Pro original rear bumper style. No additional painting required for direct installation, maintaining rear visual consistency.
Rear Bumper Assembly with Bracket Structure
The product includes the rear bumper skin and accompanying bracket components. Brackets are secured using original mounting positions, ensuring tight fitment and even gaps between the bumper and body.
Complete Accompanying Components Available
Available with rear bumper brackets (left/center) and rear bumper lights as accompanying parts. Can be purchased as a complete set or replaced individually, meeting one-stop procurement needs of repair shops.
Note: Official repair manual steps for the Yuan Pro rear bumper assembly were not found in search results. The following steps are based on general rear bumper removal procedures for same-platform models (Yuan/Yuan EV). Refer to the official BYD repair manual for specific operations.
Disconnect battery negative terminal before operation: The rear bumper integrates reversing sensors, license plate lights, and rear fog lights. Disconnect power before unplugging any connectors.
Two-person operation recommended: The rear bumper assembly is large. Single-person operation may cause the bumper to slip or scratch the paint.
Open the trunk lid and locate the opening in the liner. Pry it open by hand to reveal the plastic fastener securing the rear tail light. Turn it counterclockwise to remove, then unplug the tail light wiring connector. Grip the tail light and pull gently backward to separate it from the body. Repeat for both sides.
Use a small ratchet wrench with a T-25 Torx socket to remove the screws securing the rear bumper to the fender liner on the left side. Repeat on the right side. Keep the removed screws safe.
Continue using the T-25 Torx socket to remove the screws securing the bottom of the rear bumper. Store them together with the previously removed screws.
After removing all retaining screws, grip the rear bumper edges and gently pull outward to separate both sides from the body. Then release the center clips from the guide slots to separate the bumper from the vehicle. Note: Do not use excessive force during separation to avoid damaging clips or scratching body paint.
After the bumper is separated from the body, disconnect the reversing sensor connectors and license plate light connectors (two total). Press the locking tabs before pulling out smoothly to avoid breaking the wiring.
Connect the new bumper assembly wiring connectors to the body harness, ensuring the locking tabs engage fully. Align the bumper with the body mounting position. First engage the center clips into the guide slots, then press both sides to snap the clips into place.
After confirming the bumper fits properly against the body, tighten the bottom screws and side fender liner screws in sequence. Apply even force to avoid cracking plastic components from over-tightening.
Align the tail lights with the mounting positions, push in, and tighten the retaining fasteners. Reconnect the tail light wiring connectors. Reinstall the trunk liner and press the clips back into place.
Restore vehicle power and test the following functions in sequence: rear fog light, reverse light, turn signal, reversing sensors, and license plate lights. Confirm all functions work properly with no fault warnings.
