Product Description

Precision OEM OE Specification Match

Developed based on BYD Yuan Pro original vehicle data, with OE reference numbers EL-3103110 (Front) and SCF-3104100-D1 (Rear). Mounting dimensions and flange holes fully match OEM specifications for direct installation without modification.

Double-Row Bearing Design

Utilizing a double-row bearing design, providing stable load distribution, effectively reducing driving vibration, and improving wheel rotation smoothness.

Factory-Sealed Maintenance-Free

The bearing is factory pre-sealed and pre-lubricated. No additional grease is required after installation, reducing daily maintenance costs.

Precision-Ground Raceways

Raceways are precision-ground to reduce rolling resistance, improve transmission efficiency, and extend service life.

Multiple OE Numbers for Front and Rear

Front bearing OE number EL-3103110, rear bearing OE numbers SCF-3104100-D1 and 13320922-00, supporting precise matching by VIN.

Front Wheel Hub Bearing Replacement

Step 1: Lift Vehicle and Remove Wheel

Use wheel chocks on the rear wheels to prevent rolling. Jack up the front wheel, loosen the lug nuts, and remove the wheel.

Step 2: Remove Brake Caliper and Disc

Use an 18mm socket to remove the two brake caliper mounting bolts and take off the caliper. Be careful not to pull on the brake hose. Hang or place the caliper securely. Remove the brake disc.

Step 3: Separate Steering Knuckle

Remove the bolts connecting the steering knuckle to the shock absorber and lower control arm, and separate the knuckle from the drive shaft.

Step 4: Remove Old Bearing

Secure the steering knuckle on the press worktable. Use specialized tools and a press to smoothly press the old bearing out of the knuckle. Remove the circlip from the inner side of the bearing.

Step 5: Clean Mounting Surface

Thoroughly clean the steering knuckle bore and bearing mounting surface with cleaner to ensure no oil, metal shavings, or other debris remains.

Step 6: Press in New Bearing

Align the new bearing with the mounting position. Use a press or specialized tool to apply even force to press the bearing into the knuckle until fully seated. Ensure the bearing fits tightly against the mounting surface with no misalignment or tilting.

Step 7: Reinstall Circlip and Components

Reinstall the circlip. Reinstall the brake disc, brake caliper, and steering knuckle in reverse order of removal, and reconnect the drive shaft. Brake disc tightening torque: approximately 15 N·m.

Step 8: Install Wheel and Torque

Reinstall the wheel, hand-thread all lug nuts, then tighten in a diagonal sequence with a torque wrench to specification (typically approximately 130 N·m; refer to the Yuan Pro repair manual).

Rear Wheel Hub Bearing Replacement

Rear wheel hub bearings are typically integrated hub units. The replacement method differs from the front—usually requiring complete hub unit replacement.

Step 1: Remove Rear Brake Components

Remove the rear brake caliper and brake disc to expose the wheel hub bearing assembly.

Step 2: Remove Old Hub Unit

Remove the bolts securing the wheel hub bearing assembly (typically 4 bolts), and take the old hub unit off the knuckle/rear axle.

Step 3: Install New Hub Unit

Align the new hub unit with the mounting position, push it in, and tighten the mounting bolts to specification.

Step 4: Reinstall Brake Components and Wheel

Reinstall the brake disc, brake caliper, and wheel in reverse order of removal.

Important Notes

Bearings must be installed with a press: Never strike the bearing inner or outer race with a hammer. Striking will damage the internal structure and cause premature failure.

Left and right bearings may have different part numbers: The Yuan Pro rear wheel hub bearings have separate part numbers for left and right sides. Confirm the side before purchase and installation to avoid errors.
