Product Description

The front strut bearing is a critical rotating component in the MacPherson strut front suspension system. Installed between the front strut mount and the vehicle body, it allows the strut to rotate with the wheel during steering. According to aftermarket parts information, this bearing is typically used together with the strut mount, with some models featuring an integrated design. The Destroyer 05 features a front MacPherson strut independent suspension across all trims, making the strut bearing a core component for smooth steering and proper suspension function.

According to teardown information, the Destroyer 05 front suspension structure is essentially the same as the Qin PLUS – both feature MacPherson strut independent suspension with cast iron steering knuckles. As an important component of the suspension system, the strut bearing's operating condition directly affects steering feel, ride comfort, and tire wear.

In daily use, the front strut bearing is long subjected to vehicle load and rotational friction during steering, making it prone to wear/looseness, rotation sticking, and abnormal noise – leading to heavy steering feel, steering wheel not returning to center, and chassis noise while driving. According to repair recommendations, the strut bearing typically requires inspection and replacement after 60,000-80,000 km or when obvious symptoms appear.

Our product is strictly developed to original Destroyer 05 OE specifications, with bearing inner diameter, outer diameter, thickness, and mounting positioning slots precisely matching the original 1:1. Compatible with all 2022-2025 Destroyer 05 models (55KM/120KM range versions, Champion Edition, and Glory Edition). The strut bearing works with the strut mount to ensure smooth, no-stick steering.

According to aftermarket parts information, when the strut bearing is damaged, it must be replaced promptly – otherwise it may cause steering wheel vibration, increased driving noise, and uneven tire wear. Our product strictly meets factory standards for long-term reliability.

The strut bearing features a high-strength wear-resistant engineering plastic and metal composite structure, offering excellent load capacity and wear resistance. The bearing interior features rolling element or raceway structure with low friction coefficient for smooth steering articulation. The product passes durability testing, simulating steering cycles to ensure no sticking or noise under long-term use.

According to automotive repair standards, strut bearing damage causes changes in front wheel alignment parameters, affecting tire life. Our product is manufactured from high-quality materials to reduce wear and extend replacement intervals.

The strut bearing features clip-on or press-in mounting design, working with the strut mount. Replacement requires no special tools – can be completed following standard repair procedures. According to repair data, strut bearing installation labor is approximately 200-300 RMB, making replacement convenient and efficient.

According to repair recommendations, when replacing the strut bearing, it is recommended to replace both left and right sides as a pair for symmetric suspension performance. It is also recommended to inspect the strut mount condition and replace if aged.

 Installation Instructions

Tool Preparation:

  • 18mm/19mm/21mm socket wrenches

  • Spring compressor (required)

  • Torque wrench

  • Jack or lift

Important Safety Note: Strut bearing replacement involves spring compression – spring compressor is mandatory. Do not remove the top nut without compressing the spring, as it may cause serious injury.

Installation Steps:

  1. Lift Vehicle: Raise front using lift, remove front wheels

  2. Remove Strut Assembly: Remove strut-to-knuckle bolts, remove top nuts, remove strut assembly

  3. Compress Spring: Use spring compressor to compress coil spring, releasing top mount pressure

  4. Remove Top Mount: Remove top self-locking nut, remove strut mount

  5. Remove Old Bearing: Remove old strut bearing from the mount

  6. Clean Mounting Area: Clean dust and dirt from bearing housing

  7. Install New Bearing: Install new bearing into the mount housing, ensure fully seated

  8. Reinstall Top Mount: Reinstall top mount with bearing onto strut, tighten top nut

  9. Reinstall Strut Assembly: Reinstall strut assembly to vehicle, tighten all bolts

  10. Wheel AlignmentWheel alignment recommended after strut bearing replacement

【Professional Tips】

  • Spring compressor is required – do not remove top nut without compressing

  • Pay attention to bearing orientation during installation – ensure locating slots align

  • Recommended to replace both left and right sides as a pair for symmetric suspension performance

  • Road test recommended after replacement to confirm no noise
