The OEM glass is supplied by FUYAO using laminated safety glass technology, with the front windshield featuring UV protection. However, some owners report that the front windshield's infrared heat rejection is average, and film application is recommended to enhance heat insulation .

Installation Instructions

Important Safety Note:
Front and rear windshield replacement involves body structure disassembly/reassembly and adhesive curing—must be performed by professional technicians in a dedicated workstation. Do not wash the vehicle or drive at high speed for 24 hours after replacement to ensure adhesive fully cures.

Tools Required:

• Glass removal tools (wire saw/special cutting knife)

• Glass suction cups

• Caulking gun & special polyurethane adhesive

• Sealing rubber

• Cleaning solvent

Installation Steps (General Reference):

1. Remove old glass: Use special tools to remove the damaged windshield from inside the vehicle

2. Clean glass frame: Thoroughly remove old adhesive residue, clean the metal frame

3. Pre-treat new glass: Clean the edges of the new glass, apply glass primer

4. Apply adhesive: Evenly apply special polyurethane adhesive to the glass frame

5. Install new glass: Use suction cups to carefully position and install the new glass

6. Adjust and press: Position the glass correctly, press to ensure full contact with adhesive

7. Curing wait: Keep vehicle stationary—allow adhesive to fully cure (typically 24 hours)

8. Camera calibration (Smart Driving): For models with integrated triple-camera, perform camera calibration after installation
