This product is professionally designed for BYD’s popular Ocean Series model—the BYD Destroyer 05, serving as a core safety component in the front suspension and wheel system that bears vehicle weight and connects to the drive axle.
As a professional manufacturing factory specializing in automotive chassis and wheel hub bearings, our front wheel hub assembly strictly follows OE specifications, dedicated to providing high-precision, high-durability replacement solutions for the global aftermarket.
The front wheel hub assembly (also known as front hub bearing unit) integrates the hub, wheel bearing, housing, and oil seal into a single unit, featuring a double-row angular contact ball bearing structure that effectively reduces friction and improves load capacity.
Compatible with all BYD Destroyer 05 models (including 2022-2025, 55KM/120KM range versions, Champion Edition, and Glory Edition). The vehicle features front-wheel drive layout with MacPherson independent front suspension—the front hub assembly is a critical rotating support component.

Important Safety Note:
Front wheel hub assembly involves ABS sensor and drive axle connection. Ensure the magnetic encoder does not contact metal particles to avoid damaging speed sensing function.
Tools Required:
Lift or jack with safety stands
Socket wrench / Impact wrench
Torque wrench
Special axle nut socket
Grease
Installation Steps (General Reference):
Lift Vehicle: Raise the front using a lift, remove front wheels
Remove Brake Caliper: Remove caliper and secure to body to avoid straining brake lines
Remove Brake Disc: Remove brake disc
Remove ABS Sensor: Carefully remove wheel speed sensor to avoid damaging sensor tip
Remove Drive Axle Nut: Remove drive axle retaining nut and washer
Remove Tie Rod & Lower Arm: Disconnect tie rod end and lower arm ball joint bolts
Remove Knuckle Bolts: Remove hub-to-knuckle mounting bolts
Remove Old Assembly: Remove old front wheel hub assembly from knuckle
Clean Mounting Area: Clean knuckle bearing housing, apply proper grease
Install New Assembly: Install new hub assembly into knuckle, pre-tighten mounting bolts
Install Drive Axle: Insert drive axle spline into hub assembly, install washer and pre-tighten nut
Reinstall Disc & Caliper: Reinstall brake disc and caliper, torque to specification
Reinstall Wheel: Reinstall wheel and tighten, lower vehicle
Torque Axle Nut: Torque axle nut to specification with vehicle on ground
【Professional Tips】:
Pay attention to hub assembly orientation—ensure ABS magnetic encoder faces sensor side
Use diagnostic tool to verify ABS sensor signal after replacement
Recommended to replace both left and right sides as a pair for symmetric suspension and steering performance
Road test and wheel alignment recommended after replacement
