Product Description

This product is professionally designed for BYD’s popular Ocean Series model—the BYD Destroyer 05, serving as a critical load-bearing structural component connecting the exterior rearview mirror shell assembly to the door panel. It is commonly referred to as the “mirror base,” “mirror bracket,” or “mirror support assembly.”

As a professional manufacturing factory specializing in automotive exterior structural parts and chassis components, our left and right outside rearview mirror bracket assemblies strictly follow OE specifications, dedicated to providing the global aftermarket with high-strength, high-precision replacement solutions.

The outside rearview mirror bracket assembly is the core framework of the entire mirror assembly, responsible for bearing all functional components including the housing, mirror glass, and internal motors. Its structural strength and mounting precision directly affect mirror stability, adjustment accuracy, and driving safety.

Compatible with all BYD Destroyer 05 models (including 2022-2025, 55KM/120KM range versions, Champion Edition, and Glory Edition). According to aftermarket parts data, this product is same-platform compatible with the BYD Qin PLUS (2021-2024). It is available in Left (driver side) and Right (passenger side) versions—which are mirror-symmetric designs and not interchangeable.

  • The outside rearview mirror bracket assembly is a structural component—no regular replacement required under normal conditions.

  • When the vehicle is involved in a side collision accident causing bracket cracking, deformation, or mounting position damage, replacement is mandatory—repair is not recommended.

  • When replacing the mirror assembly, if the bracket assembly shows any damage, simultaneous replacement is recommended to ensure structural integrity.

 Installation Instructions

Tools Required:

  •  Long screwdriver / Trim removal tool

  • Socket wrench (10mm/12mm)

  •  Plastic clip removal tool

Installation Steps (General Reference):

  1. Remove Door Trim: Remove corresponding front door interior trim panel to expose mirror mounting position and harness connector

  2. Disconnect Electrical Connector: Unplug power and control harness connectors from the mirror

  3. Remove Mounting Bolts: Remove mounting bolts securing bracket assembly to door (typically 3 bolts)

  4. Remove Old Bracket Assembly: Carefully remove the old left/right outside rearview mirror bracket assembly

  5. Compare & Confirm: Verify new part matches old in left/right orientation, mounting hole positions, and structure

  6. Transfer Functional Components: If replacing only the bracket assembly, transfer the housing, glass, motor, and other components from the old assembly to the new bracket

  7. Install New Bracket Assembly: Position new bracket assembly, pre-tighten mounting bolts

  8. Connect Harness: Reconnect mirror harness connector, ensure secure connection

  9. Reinstall Door Trim: Reinstall door trim panel—secure clips and screws

  10. Function Test: Start vehicle—test mirror adjustment, turn signal, heating, and folding functions

【Professional Tips】:

  • Left and right bracket assemblies are mirror-symmetric designs and are not interchangeable—confirm left/right orientation during installation

  • Protect the mirror glass surface during component transfer to avoid scratches

  • Mounting bolts must be torqued to OEM specifications—over-tightening may damage the bracket, under-tightening may cause mirror vibration

  • If the vehicle is equipped with a 360° camera system, camera calibration is required after replacement
